Last week I purchased a Hitachi Widescreen Tv(#46F500). This is my first

projection tv and I am loving it so far. I need your opinions on how to setup my room so I get the best out of my system now.

From the couch to the Tv is about 6 feet and that is just too close for me to sit for this big a tv. I want to possibly move the tv in front of the window, and put the couch where the computer is. I don't have a tape measure so i measured myself, then used a cord to measure it and it is about 9 1/2-10 feet. Will that be too far a distance to sit for a 46" tv? I could always move the couch off the back of the wall a foot or two. I am probably going to move the computer in the next room. I am also looking for something to maybe permenetaly block out the window to get rid of all the sunlight coming into the house in that room. What would be the best possible thing to put there to keep out as much light as possible? Keep in mind that I am in an apartment so nothing major that will leave damage., ect. Thanks very much in advance for suggestions and such.

You can see the setup I have in these pics on the attached files.
