Just brought a 43" Pioneer Plasma home! Had D*HD installed with the new D10 box with Monster HDMI. Every 15-20 minutes the picture goes blue and the tv has no signal for 20 to 30 seconds. What is going on? It seems like the HD Box is not outputting signal, but why?


The TV does not do this on any other inputs.

have you tried connecting using other cables like component or dvi?

does it drop out only on HD channels?

Sounds like an HDCP handshake problem. And since you have tried the other outputs (analog, which don't use HDCP) I would call D* and ask for an explanation. Also, you are aware that AVS has a dedicated HDTV Hardware forum, right?
