I am looking for a high quality spade plug and a high quality banana plug. I will be using these on both ends of the wire, but do not know if I will use a spade or banana at this point. I would like high quality suggestions for both that I can check out. The bind posts on my sherb 7/2100 are pretty close so bare wire is a pain. My s-38's are better but would like the clean connection of a spade or banana.

Also, my rear speakers are flat against the wall and it seems a banana would stick out to far to use for these. Would a spade work for these?

Parts Express carries some of the WBT line and I've used them on a few of my DIY projects. They are a great choice, especially if you can find them on sale. Make sure that your selected binding post accepts spades and that the post diameter matches the width of the spade (there are 2 common sizes).

Well maybe not quite that nice. Those are a little more than I wanted to spend. What would be the next step down from these?

the wbt mid line is cheaper than the top line banana plugs

or get a set of 4 for centre channel first then front L&R

Thanks for the link hometheaterguy. I assume that it does not matter that these are advertised as car audio spades? I am sure they will work for HT equally as well, right?

I got a set of 20 banana plugs from Lenexpo for a good price. They work wonderfully and look good. Also check out his eBay auctions for slightly better prices. (EDIT: couldn't post link to auctions, but search for 'lenexpo').

P.S. I don't know these people personally and am not working for them, I'm just a happy customer.
