Wife still is in good mood, and has given ok, I am looking at


Pioneer PDP-4340HD 43, Panny TH-42PX25U/P or Sharp LC-37GD6U?


There is no perfect TV yet, these have numerous pros and cons, I am just looking for the best out of the bunch for everyday use in the living room/kitchen area, and a good picture for digital cable/tivo.

I have a 4340 mounted above our fireplace and we could not be happier. I bought it for my wife with the goal of having it simple to operate. We went with the factor speakers which are modest, but once agian no AV receiver to deal with. The only down side was I had already run RGB behind the wall but could not use it with the 4340 so I had to re-run the special cable this unit requires. After buying the 33' extra cable of course!


This unit is our day to day TV. We have a front projection in another room for movies.
