Need wiring diagrams for 7.1 surround, amps & EQ.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction on where I can find wiring diagrams for 7.1 surround sound using 3 or more amps and maybe 2 subs?

I've found a few diagrams on the web, but most diagrams are not for 7.1 using amps.

???? The additional amp channels are fed from the additional 2 pre/pro outputs for the Rrear and Lrear channels. In general, two subs are fed from the original sub output by a Y-cable. A few subs can accommodate daisy-chain connections and a very few pre/pros have dual sub outputs.

Do you need a diagram for that?

Kal, I'm looking to use a Denon 3808Ci as a processor until I figure out what I'm doing. I'm a little confused on what size amps and how many amps, subs, EQ to use in a 27' x 17' room. I was thinking that a diagram would show this?

1. What size amp? Doesn't the already 3808Ci have amps in it? You would only need to add amps if they were grossly inadequate and that would depend on your speakers needs.

2. How many subs? Again that depends on which sub(s) you pick and how you arrange your room.

3. EQ? Doesn't the 3808Ci already have Audyssey EQ in it?

Diagrams would show none of this information.
