Hello all you hi-end enthusiast,

I need your help and advice. I'm a big fan of active speakers. My pair of full active Adam-Audio Tensor Beta speakers need to be replaced. The retail on these puppies was $34,000 and (major bummer) they are no longer available. I would really appreciate your input as what is currently available that would be comparable to my Beta's and are full active.

Thank you all in advanced!

I haven?t heard Adam audio tensors
But I agree once you use actives , it?s hard to go back to passive speakers . You can look into these to begin with . I am sure other members can add to the list :
Seaton Sound ( probably best value and great sound )
Genelec
Alcons Audio CRMS
Meridian DSP speakers
Dynaudio also makes active monitors in their Pro range of speakers

+1 for Seaton. The front end would be something that would factor into suggestions though.

No chance to rebuild those speakers???

For music: ATC all the way! A pair of SCM50 or above.
