Network Connecting

427 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  George T

Just got a V575 and after setup there is a network issue:

Networking is not working, the IP is set to DHCP "ON", Mac Filtering "OFF" and Network Standby to "ON". When the Network Status is displayed it switches between "Connected" and "Disconnected" every second. Other devices connected to the router work fine (all are hardwired).

Any thoughts?

That's a new one. Have you confirmed that, disregarding what the status says, that networking doesn't work? Also, try swapping a different ethernet cable. Also restart the router and make sure there are no IP conflicts on the LAN. (Sometimes it's the stupidest stuff.)

Also I would ask the Q here, where a lot more V75 users will see it: http://www.avsforum.com/t/1465259/yamaha-rx-v-75-series-owners-thread/700_50#post_24307398

You nailed it.  The Ethernet cable wasn't securely plugged in.  All is well now, thanks.
