Any insights on what level of performance improvement to expect?
Hi,Any insights on what level of performance improvement to expect?
Working on it..Any info on the value line yet?

Thanks Tom!Working on it..
Most everything has been finalized now. I'm just crunching numbers to figure out just how MUCH of a "value" I can present..
The new product line will eventually include a full lineup of subwoofers and speakers. But initially, it will be two subwoofers(that will be shipping 4th quarter 2019).
I may try to circle back to this tonight before leaving the office. It's a difficult (for me anyway) balance because I don't want to "talk up" new products WAY before being able to ship them. But, on the other hand, I don't want someone receiving a subwoofer 4-6-8 weeks before the new subs would be available for pre-order and then wishing they had known.
I don't anticipate the first speakers in this model line being available until second half 2020. And they certainly won't be similar to the current 110/210/210T speakers is overall performance. They will be more of a 5.0 / 7.0 package for $999 type of thing.

Here and AVnirvana for sure. If I get it to load on FB there too. Half of what I put into FB just saves as "draft" and never gets posted so whatever. Thanks Tom!
Where will you announce it?
PSA FB?
AVS vendor PSA thread?
AVS PSA owner's thread?
PSA website?
I just wanna make sure I have the most updated info so I can let some friends know, they are currently in the market for a vented sub $700-$900 I told them just to wait a couple more weeks hopefully for your announcement.

I may try to send out a newsletter this week when I have all of the info ready.(new 15 stuff, new 18 stuff, new value stuff, and maybe all of the info about possible neo/ipal upgrades for products in the field. Oh and the same for the new B&C tweeter as well)...sigh...there's a lot left to do..

Nothing changes on each model except the woofers and the DSP programming in the amps.So the V1512df and the V1512 will be in the same enclosures as the 1510 with the same amp and just the upgraded neo driver, or are the enclosures different as well?
Considering that the only changes are woofers and DSP programming, will the woofers allow these to be configured for stronger ULF output, and if so are you going to configure them to do so? I know you can't put numbers on performance increases right now, but it would be helpful to know qualitatively whether the performance increase is relatively even across the board or biased toward the low end.All of this adds up to a louder, more accurate bass presentation. And with demanding material at louder volume the benefits are clearly audible.
We had a bit of discussion about this over in the owner's thread and Tom may not post a response here. The general consensus based on what we know of the new drivers is a very slight gain on the low end of maybe 1db-1.5db in the 16-25 hz region, but then a much more sizable increase above that. Of course that is just speculation without hard test data. The biggest perceived difference may be the difference in sound quality as the Neo will have a different sound signature and you will be able to push them harder without them distorting.Considering that the only changes are woofers and DSP programming, will the woofers allow these to be configured for stronger ULF output, and if so are you going to configure them to do so? I'm particularly interested in the S3012 but wouldn't mind hearing about the others as well. My XS30 is doing very well for me with my only "complaint" being some missing ULF. It would be music to my ears to learn that the S3012 will be a significant ULF boost over previous models.
Nothing groundbreaking. I modified an existing V1512 cabinet to support a deeper tuning point. I have three different options for that ranging from about 12.75hz to 14.75hz.I know the TV1512 is put on hold but is there any preliminary information we can get about it?

Same 15 inch Italian Neo, Same Ohio built ICE(with a new dsp program).

I know this is a bit old now, but i currently have dual S1811's and wondered how dual S1512's would compare, and what would i be missing out on
if i went down this route?
I am UK based and live in a top floor apartment/flat as a result don't get anywhere close to using the available headroom the S1811's give me, so thought the S1512's might be a better option, especially if the bass is cleaner, or would i not notice it at lower levels?
Any thoughts/advice much appreciated.
