There are a lot of those Youtube THX vids. I have a single Klipsch 12" sub, BTHurtz I can't even imagine what your system must sound like!

There is a Juassic Park one I hate due to the bone crunching, but the low rumbling of the dinos running through the jungle is pretty cool.

Here's my favorite:

Here's a nice mix:

3:17 is my all-time favorite. I remember shaking my apartment complex about 15 years ago with that one. I had a SVS B4+ in about a 400 square foot condo. lol

These are all great; thanks for posting them! Does anyone know if you download the THX trailers direct from YouTube if they would play back in 7.1? I've always used http://www.savetube.com/ to download .mp3's people put out there but never tried a surround sound trailer/movie.

On a semi-related note: I always wanted to download one of those Surround Demo Discs that members here put together but it seems so complicated. You have to use **********, which is an invitation for viruses, then you have to unzip and rezip four different downloads, then convert, then burn etc...isn't there just a single .ISO out there you can download and burn?

LOL! Yeah, I am just a bit old-school. A bit off-topic, but I still have several (older but PCI-E) hardware RAID cards that I've used for various purposes over the years. I have wanted to build a media server for years now, but the time needed to devote to ripping/encoding BRs has turned me off to the idea thus far. The new HT will have a "HTPC" in it, but so far it's just for streaming foreign TV shows over the net for my wife and serving as a "media server" for the almost 200GB of high bit rate tunes I have amassed over the years.

I can't even remember the last time I "burned" a disc.
