Hooked my new 3030 up last night and it got the channel guide, then overnight got the Zone(s) info.


However the software is still shown as v2.0 Build 49 (411-Zone).


How/When will it get v3.0?

I hooked up a new 3030 and after 2 nightly connections no new software, so I forced a connection and BINGO - downloading new software.

I have seen some evidence that suggests phone calls terminate after about one hour. This would make sense as a check on hung downloads. Since the initial ReplayZone downloads can be extensive and a software download takes between 30 and 90 minutes (my first 3.0 took about 35 minutes), it might take several calls to get everything.


Thus, if you rely on the nightly calls it might take a few days. If you force calls, you will probably get it all after 2 or 3 tries depending on how good your connection is.

Well it was my lack of patience... Second night it dialed in and I'm now on v3.0 Build 21!
