Does anyone have definitive specs on this new model? I have seen somewhat inconsistent specs around the web. I would guess is has 4000:1 contrast and DVI/HDCP. I think the model # is TH-50PHD6UY, but I am seeing some vendor sites that have that model # listed with what appears to be the specs on the current model.

I believe the HD 50" is only 3000:1 contrast. The user manual is on Activelight's website in their pdf section (sorry -- I am too new to post a URL)

Got it, thanks.

Could not find info on the "PC" input being able to switch so it can accept "Component"--where did this info come from?

The "DVI/HDCP Board" info talks of PC, but does not mention anything about accepting "Video"--any thoughts on this?

What do you mean optional? A card slot like previous generations?

It's on the specs:

----------------------------------------------------------------

RGB Input (PC/Component) - Mini D-sub 15-pin x 1

----------------------------------------------------------------

Some "6UY" owners are already using it.

If you zoom-in the "Present Input Signal" chart (top left) you'll see all the signals accepted by the TY-42TM6D DVI card marked.

Or:

Code:
Code:
