I've seen them locally but that does not help. Try KMart and other stores people don't usually go to for electronics.

New 60GB?
Need to replace my PS3. Has anyone seen the 60GB for sale anywhere new?(not ebay). They were out there before Christmas, now they seem to have vanished.

I guess area would help. How about in the DFW area?
Judging by what most have said from various places around the US, you won't have much luck at the bigger electronics stores like Best Buy or Circuit City.
I've seen 60gig models here in the SF Bay Area at local Target stores pretty regularly (as recently as last week). I'd start making some phone calls and see what turns up.

I'm just curious why not eBay?
Usually will buy just about anything on ebay, but over Christmas, bought a Motorstorm bundle with new NBA 2K8 and extra sixaxis for 475 shipped. Thought it was too good to be true but hey it was 2am and had just been listed and the guy had 300 feedback at 99%. So i figured ok. Well he basically needed a loan so he said it was lost in mail, and would give me refund. Just got it back. (1 month) I guess i dont feel like running into the guy that realizes that he doesnt have to refund my $$$$ and there isnt anything i can do about it.

Go to your local Target and ask if they can search for one at the other stores...if they can, they might be able to get it shipped to you.

The Garland Gamerush had one on hold for me for this weekend. I ended up going to San Antonio for it. They may still have it. If not, try other Gamerush's as they seem to still have some in stock for $449.

Try sam's club...if you or a friend is a member. They might have them..but I think their pricing is before the ps3 pricecuts. So you might have to negotiate with them.
