Just wondering if Aerial showed their new flagship speakers (model 20?) at CES.

Nope, I didn't see them. But Aerial had their new CC5 center speaker and stand (WOW!) and inverted versions of the CC3 and CC5.

how did the cc5 sound/look? (how big is it) and how come Mike Kelley decided to do vertical versions?

The CC5 sounded wonderful, absolutely vunderful. I can't wait to get mine! And a neato looking Sound Anchors stand underneath as well. Its probably twice as long, or longer, than the CC5 (from front to back).

The vertical CC3 and CC5 versions are because of interest in using these speakers for possibly side, rear or surround center EX speakers, possibly in combination with his SR3 surrounds.

Did Aerial give you a price for the new CC5? I'm thinking about moving my CC3 to the rear, for Dolby EX, and buying a new Aerial center.

Probably about $3,500 or so, plus the price of the custom Sound Anchor stand which is nifty lookin'.
