I recently won an eBay auction where the guy claimed to have a 2003 version of the Avia test DVD. I checked the back of the DVD and it says "1999" on the copyright with no indication of anything being changed for 2003.

Thanks

Jeez, what a buyer-beware place ebay has become...the seller lies.

You got the existing, original version of AVIA, and there's nothing wrong with this, given its physical condition. It will be around for the foreseeable future.

AVIA will be soon selling the Avia PROFESSIONAL set of disks for $400, but it's not aimed at us home consumers, rather, calibrationists.

The competition will be the just-released Digital Video Essestials NTSC consumer test disk available online at $18 -$20 discounted.

I just got off the phone with Ovation (maker of Avia) and they confirmed that there have been ZERO updates to the DVD since it's initial release in 1999.

Buyers beware.

Thanks
