Getting ready to add a new amplifier setup. I will have the B&W 602 S3 and B&W LCR 60 for my home theater front setup. Will be adding B&W DS6s for surrounds in a 5.1 setup.
I was thinking about getting the Yamaha RX-A830 or A1030 AVR or possibly the Emotive UPA-500 amp with pre-outs from the AVR. My SVS sub will be doing all the low end work.
Will I be ok with an AVR or is the Emotive setup the way to go. Budget is about $900 for all the electronics? I have never used the B&W speakers but I heard they can be amp hungry?
