New AVRs with HDMI 2.1 - Industry Feature Support Intentions

Had a question about what to expect in AVRs with HDMI 2.1 in late 2020. Some of you do not care about it yet or even when It comes out since you aren't gamers. However, there are those of us that do care what is offered.

Is the intent for AVR companies to pass all the HDMI 2.1 features through? VRR is the biggest one I am interested in. Also, ALLM (some AVRs do now), QMS, QFT... Or are they going to cheap out, and is the intent for the industry as a whole to point all devices to a TV with eARC, and then eARC over to AVR, so that the AVR does not need to pass those features?

I enjoyed when my AVR was the hub of activity for HDMI, especially since there are still kinks to work out with eARC and firmware on devices to properly support it.
