Can anybody tell me which is better.. the hqv processor that integra uses or the marvell one that the high end pioneer elite uses? also, where does the Faroudja DCDi rate in there? thanks guys.. i dont' know much about these things.. any help is appreciated

Reon is the best I've seen at video deinterlacing both SD and HD. It does only OK with film. With standard 3:2 cadence it is fine (most BD, DVD), but with variable cadences (broadcast film sources) it falters.


Qdeo has some good intitial reports, but I'd await more info (reports with the Pio 09) before jumping.


Faroudja is older technology but still good especially with SD sources.


Realta is probably the best overall solution IMO (caveat being we don't know much about Qdeo yet) but it will depend on the software implementation more than others with Realta.
