the sub box is built with thin and course grained MDF, it seems to distort pretty bad. I have some high grade 1" MDF left over from a car speaker box build.


would I benifit from building a new box?


where could I get the components to build a great sub?

maybe some bracing might help with the weird sound it's making.


If I sit some weight on it it sounds much better.
