Just picked up the parts for a new build from Microcenter for a co-worker who requested speed when working with Adobe CS products for multimedia design and editing. It was nice to be able to step past the good enough and get some horsepower instead. I still kept things reasonable, there are no Samsung 840 Pro RAID arrays, and wanted it to be as quiet as possible. The entire build was $1,200, excluding a monitor and speakers.
