I'm growing tired of looking at my Silverstone LC13 and am also wanting something with better ventilation.

What goes in the box:

MSI K8NGM2-FID mATX mobo

AMD 3800 x2

2 gig ram (4x512)

gigabyte 8500gt

sondigo inferno

2 hard drives

dvd drive

Cases that have caught my eye:

OrigenAE H6

OrigenAE X11

SilverStone LC16M

SilverStone LC17

SilverStone LC20M

I've seen the Antec Fusion, but I'm somewhat ambivalent towards it unless someone has a compelling reason that I should consider it.

Any thoughts or recommendations, please?

I opted for the Zalman 160xt. For two reasons. I liked the external style better than the Silverstone. I also liked the side display because when placed into an entertainment center with split glass fronts the screen does not have the glass separation down the middle.

Additionally the Zlaman internal layout is fantastic. It's super easy to work with (much better than the Silverstone (it really puts it to shame). The drive bays (2) are easily removable and can be inserted or removed even with a fully populated motherboard installed in the system.

I also liked the zalman software but that's certainly not as important, but the controllable fans is really really great. Imo one of the best features.

Combine this case with the Zalman Reserator 2 and you'll approach silent quality cooling in your HTPC.

Oops. Sorry didn't realize you didn't have the LCD equipped cases listed, so my comparison isn't really a good one (unless you want to spend a lot more!).

I also want to buy the OrigenAE case before. But after some research and ask some nice people here, I really think their case are overpriced. So I finally go with a cheap rackmount case. I only use that for fileserver, so rackmount case is good enough.

If you don't care much about pricing, I think the design of OrigenAE case is really good. But only their price step me back :)
