hi need to build a sub for my ht / game / music

got about 7.5cu ft to work with for the box

thinking 4 10s or 12s

maybe 2/3 15

down firing maybe ported

box something like LxWxH 60"x24x9

would like it to be tight/fast but be abel to go low

i have these 15 just sitting nib

The specs look pretty good. Just half the xmax since I'm betting 64mm is peak to peak. WinISD and Unibox are your friends.

These seem like good woofers. You can probably get good results.

Your dimensions are not very good for a 15" woofer since it is probably more than 9" deep.

A good approach would be to put them in a ported enclosure. Two 4 cubic foot enclosures, or one 7.5 cubic foot to 8 cubic foot enclosure. Tuned to around 17hz.

The response should entend down into the low teens.

thanks for the input

i had the manufacture give me specs on how to build a box using them in my truck 10.5 cu ft after displacement tuned to 35 hz running 2 2500watt rms amps

but did not get that far ,so thought to use them in the house

I've heard Treos in cars.. Sick sick bass. Are these subs good candidates for HT?

treo's first retail store in omaha ne has a ht room done with all car audio

all running off of alpine processer / amps

alpine tweets and mids for all ch

treo subs 2 or4 15s ported up front right hand side buy the screen

but you can't tell were the bass comes from

and its not no small room

look at the room of doom 36 or more 15 in sealed boxes over 6k wats

you get to stand in the port and turn it on
