New Driver



SWEET !!!! I've been thinking about trying IB for awhile and this may just be the driver to try it with.

yeah..I saw that. Looks pretty good...can't wait to see some measurements and results on it...Dan usually makes some of the best drivers there are

Will these be Atlas or Avalanche grade xmax?

I know this is probably a very basic question, but how big of a box would you have to use with something like this in infinite baffle? I've heard people talk about 12x the size of a sealed box? How do you figure out that desired size anyways?

The rule of thumb is 10 times of the Vd of all drivers combined.

I think the IB sub will be called the "Alliance". Don't know if it is the same one Thomas is referring to.

It's not the same driver, I'm just saying that if it were to come in or under $300, and it is of high quality, possibilities for insane IBs would be abundant.

That's the big question, along with will it use a linear BL technology (less important if you go with very many of these).

I'm going to closely watch the results the early adopters have with these new drivers; I'm thinking of changing directions and going IB instead of four sealed Tumults.
