Has anyone had a chance to listen (or own) the new eD floor stand speakers, or the subs?

I hear they are incredible for the price, but that is coming from the forum of people who already love elemental design stuff.

thx

Just did an install and used an ED setup - the small sub small sats and the center. It truly was remarkable. We used an onkyo receiver and a Panasonic projector with a 108" screen. The performance far exceeded expectations. Email me if you have any questions.

Thanks Tim.

I hear many good things, I'm just wonder what they are comparable with. What stands out about these speakers, is it clarity, acuracy, loudness, full sound?

I guess I could always just order them and find out myself huh?

well be prepared to wait 2 or 3 months for your sub ShapS... though your speakers will ship right away...

I would also like to here the answers to ShapS questions and also how well the speakers blended with the sub.

I am getting ready to purchase the center channel and the bookshelfs tomorrow and hopefully the floor standing and a sub in the near future. I have used ED in the car before and have been impressed with them so I am hoping for the same in the home. In the car audio world they are known for being a very good bang for the buck and that is what I am hoping for in their HT stuff as well.

That's what I did

I spent a lot of time reading reviews and trying out a lot of different speakers at audio stores locally. Out of all the speakers that I listened to I would say they most closely resemble the Focals that I heard. They have a very natural sound with clean dialogue and great range. I've been nothing but pleased since I turned them on. There is no question in my mind that these are the best speakers you can get at the price point. Unless you can manage to get something vastly superior used perhaps, but you wont get a 5 year warranty on those.

My sentiments exactly!

It's tough to take a chance on speakers you can't audition, but I couldn't be happier!

Their sound is pretty much as the previous poster described.
