Nothing really exciting here, but I was able to confirm exactly what inputs the new P50s will have. As confirmed by a Fuji rep, the inputs will be the same as on the current 30 series P50s, but with the addition of an HDMI input. So, that gives it:

1 HDMI

1 DVI

2 Component

1 S-Video

1 Composite

1 mD-Sub RGB

3 L/R Audio

1 RS-232C

They're still expecting to start shipping the new 50s in November at a price still expected to be the same as this year's MSRP ($9K).

Presuming these really are two independent inputs, i.e., the HDMI is a separately selectable input as implemented by Fujitsu and not just a recabling of the DVI input (which would be a pretty dumb thing for them to do), this will work fine for video. HDMI is backward compatible with DVI so you can plug a DVI source into an HDMI display input with just a simple adapter cable or plug.

If you want to use the internal audio of the display you also need to be sure the audio portion of the HDMI plug can be ignored and one of the regular L/R audio inputs selected instead since of course your DVI cable won't be passing any audio. In such case you'll need to pass an audio feed for each DVI source -- which might be just one feed if they are both going through an AV Receiver or audio processor.
