New home and want to build a solid floor standing theater/music set up.

Bought a killer new house. Fully wired with surrounds in the ceilings and speakers in the rooms. Previous owner had a B&W setup that was killer. Super expensive. With so many options I am floored. SVS looked good. Definitive Technology? I don’t have B&W money but would love to get something solid. And how do I power theb3 zones and outside this guy has going. He just left the wires. Pulled the rest but his ceiling units and ceiling surrounds. I also have multiple room speakers installed 3 zones, with volume dials on the wall, and zero idea how he was running it. Clueless. Please help.

Previous homeowner should have labelled every wire, kind of a jerk for not doing it. Zones and outside stuff is different than home theater, you're looking at whole house audio for that. Hire a local pro to help you with the install once you figure out what to buy. Revel makes very nice speakers in many price ranges. About Revel
Sounds like a lot of trial and error is in your future. Good luck!
There's a lot going on there. I sent you a DM.
I see that you are new here, click the blue dot on your avatar on top of the page to access it if you weren't already aware.
Hope it helps.

If you go in the direction of powered speakers, be aware that the plate amplifiers that power them are perishable consumables and may have a limited life span. Once your warrantee is up and the plate is spent, you will be at the mercy of customer service. Research accordingly and plan on future service needs.
