Finally got around to getting my equipment up. House came with the in walls seen in the pics. I am going to use both those and my L Series as mains. What are your thoughts? I am not sure on the make or anything but it will add some height to my front stage. Thoughts and opinions welcome. 60" Samsung plasma hopefully upgraded soon to 75 or 80.

Thanks! I just got everything mounted and I'll be running all new 14ga speaker wire this weekend and hiding those wires. Just temporary for a day or so
If your AVR supports front height speakers, I would use the in-walls for that.

I would NOT wire them up to the same posts as your mains, that can cause all sorts of issues.
Would that only be with the new Atmos receivers then? I am running a pioneer VSX 820 AVR but maybe I should get a preamp receiver and amp. I'm just trying to maximize.
No, there are many AVRs that support front height channels...unfortunately, yours isn't one of them. :(

If you're looking to upgrade, what's your budget?
Please point me in the direction of a couple receivers.. I haven't spent some $$ on the system for a while :)
Just noticed this but it looks like my receiver does support height speakers

Why not a 120" acoustically transparent screen covering all those speakers and a Benq W1070 projector hung to just below the level of the ceiling fan ? It is criminal to watch TV from that couch distance on something as small as 80".

Yup, you are correct. Although you would need an external 2 channel amp.
What are these LCRS ON WALL?

I vote for a 80" or larger tv, as with a projector itll be a pita with all that light!
