I'm looking to set up a HTPC using my old computer. I plan on using it to mainly record live TV or from VHS. Here are the specs of my pc.

200 gig Seagate (8MB Cache) connected to a Promise Ultra 133 TX2 controller card
DVD-Rom drive
Sound Blaster Extigy
Matrox G400 Dual Head
Win XP Pro
I was looking at getting a WinFast TV2000 XP Expert to do the video capture. I was wondering if anybody could tell me if this will do the job, and what is the best software to use.
