Hello ... I've just spent the last hour or so going over the original Z4 tweaks thread from a long time ago.
I remember reading about someone replacing the lamp in their projector and having it kick into High Altitude mode ... which meant the fan spun on high all the time.
Well, I've replaced the lamp in my proj and lo and behold, its pretty freakin loud now ... whereas before the replacement it was whisper quit.
I found the service settings to adjust this ... page 5 of the thread if anyone's interested ... but don't know how to get into the service mode and am a little uneasy with this course.
So .... a) how do you get into the service mode and b) is there another way?
My projector is ceiling mounted and was quiet before I replaced the lamp.
