Hey everyone. I have a Planar PD7060 DLP projector. I bought it about 3 years ago and just recently the lamp went bad. I had a 3 year Mack warranty and got the lamp replaced by them with no hassle. Since replacing the lamp there seems to be these rainbow like concentric rings that appear in the picture. It is most noticeable when the display is white or light colored. There also seems to be a hotsopt on the upper right portion of the display. I've attached a picture to help describe it better. The new lamp has about 60 hours on it and shows no sign of getting any better. The projector did not do this when it was new nor did it do it during any of the previous 4000 hours it was used. Is this something that will go away or should I be asking for a new lamp?

First thing to do if you didn't already is to make sure the lamp cage is in correctly and not cocked to one side or something.
