Actually the title might be wrong, because in reality it's very sad. Back on November 29, 2006 I sent an email asking when New Line would be releasing LOTR on HD-DVD. I got this reply today and the line that made me laugh is "We are sending you this automated reply in order to give you the fastest possible assistance." (my italics and bold)

Comments: I'm waiting anxiously to buy Lord of the Rings, but I'm

FirstName: Joshua

LastName: Noyes

Comments: I was writing to encourage New Line films to release their

products on the HD-DVD and Blu-ray formats. I am an owner of two HD-DVD players and two Blu-ray players and

know many people who have Blu-ray/HD-DVD players and we would all like many of

your films available on Blu-ray/HD-DVD, especially the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Does New Line expect to release on the Blu-ray/HD-DVD formats soon?

Thank You,

Joshua Noyes

ROFLMAO I got the same thing when I asked about the HD DVD release of LOTR.

Maybe they are all cyborgs and there is no actual human presence at New Line...
