The new firmware release seems to have cure my problem with certain DVDs that I could not read like T3, T2, Nemo. I am going to do more testing but. so far so good.


People who have had various problems with the Momitsu, give the new release a go and let them know:

I just installed the new firmware and no problems yet in my already fully modded unit. It's too bad they couldn't have had this out last week, I would have liked to try the new firmware BEFORE I installed the Lite-on Loader.

I already got it loaded in my V880. Downloaded in a second or two! Just give me your mail address and I send it to you (all). I got plenty of bandwidth and even my own SMTP-server.

I've downloaded all the other available firmwares before, and never had problems finding them.

I have a DSL connection. Should I complain to my ISP?

I've already downloaded the file and will initiate firmware upgrade.


I don't know (yet) if this firmware will take care of all or most of our problems but I think it is fair to recognize that Manowa is putting a great deal of effort in trying to solve our problems, more so if taking into account the price of the V880. It's good to know that they are planning to continue supporting the player even announcing dates for future upgrades.

I have a Bravo and was told by Tech Support that their latest FW is the last.

I am glad that my V880 is going to be supported longer.

I¡¦m very curious about the new Firmware. So far I haven¡¦t implemented it. I did the cap replacement last week and would like to see how much of an improvement it gave. So far so good. I will try the machine for a few more weeks to see if it still works fine.

My question is the same as bass4040's. I already did all the mod's and I have the Liteon 166s loader (which works great)...will this latest firmware update be OK with this loader installed? I notice that someone else posted earlier that they used it with the Liteon. Am I safe?

Any help is truly appreciated!!!!

Your assumtion is wrong, press setup during playback to toggle setting, use volume +/- to adjust.
