I got a NHT package from a local store 2- SB2s for the main, SC1, SW10ii, SB1s

for surround. I got this JVC RX-DV32SL 100 W per channel receiver with build

in DVD player in order to save space and connections (and $)

Paid $1000.00 for the speaker package and $200.00 on the internet for

the receiver - hope this is a good deal.

This whole surround sound really rocks. The DVD supports DVD-Audio and

the Eagles Hotel Californa is really well mixed for 5.1 !!! - Need to get more

DVD-Audio stuff.

Not sure if I am every going to buy a regular CD again :D

Sam,

Glad you enjoy your purchases, spending the bulk of your money on speakers was the right way to go. DVD-A can sound awesome, the problem is the lack of software.

Enjoy!

The Sony DVD receivers were an option - but they seem to have fans

on them - and I hate the noise fans make.

As for the subwoofer - I moved from a 3 speaker (l, r, c) Pro Logic system

to this - am happy with it for now.

This seems like a much better setup tham most HTIBs - which was an option

I was considering earlier.
