Here's a picture - I think the floating screen is a nice look. The 61" is available now. I'm trying to get info on the 44" and 50" models (The 50" is less than 47" wide).

not bad, but a bit bulky looking from that angle. i think there's too much lower casing below the screen. almost makes it look like it's a table-top crt rptv.

thats (from what i understand is the 163 seies ( saw it at cedia)) was told from distributor buddy today the 50" 163 is canned (hd50lpw163)and they are only doing 50" in the 165 which i am understanding is the HD3. the only hd2+'s are the 61" 163's and the "profiles'... the wall hanging one....

Not to offend, but I don't think that's true. The 165 series uses the HD2+. The only difference between the 163 and 165 (that I could see in the specs) is the on-screen TV Guide. I did hear (from RCA through TVAuthority) that the 50" 163 was going to be released as a 165 instead. I have seen it online, along with the 44" version. Check my post #810 in this thread

Just spoke to the retailer I found on line (authorized RCA dealer)


61" 163's are available for shipment now


50" 165's by end of month


44" 165's shortly thereafter


He is also an authorized Samsung dealer. No idea when the 74's were coming.
