New Receivers

I'm hoping to let supply chain issues and possible manufacturing problems get corrected before I need a new receiver.

Nope. I bought 2 new Denon X3700H at the start of the year and am happy with them right now. No need for me to upgrade yet.

Nah. 2022 for me. Hoping for a Denon X8500HA with 9.2.6 capabilities and more than a single HDMI 2.1. The latter is more plausible, but both would be nice.

Denon are great receivers, that's what I have now (4300H) and have used for the last 4 years, but I don't need 9/11 channels like I thought originally, so I'm going with a 7 channel and time for an upgrade.

If I really push aside the always-nagging upgrade bug on my left shoulder and look at new receivers objectively, there's nothing new that I would benefit from. Perhaps IMAX-enhanced but not really. I believe my receiver is from 2019. I'm not really sure what the next big thing will be that causes me to say 'oh, I need that'. I haven't seen it yet.

Dirac is literally the only thing I would/will be upgrading for... otherwise, there's nothing my SR6011 can't do that I want/need.

The Yamaha A4A is delayed with no future delivery date set, and on top of that, they raised the price $100, so lucky I locked in earlier.
