I went and looked at the samsung hd931 at the stores today. I compared it to other $300 DVDs.

The Samsung had a Fill Screen Mode that got rid of the black Bars on Star Wars Episode II.

This stretch mode looked perfect, better than anything any of the TVs could do with there stretch wide or zoom modes.

How good is this? Do others have this feature?

Do you loose any quality. Do you gain quality since your at 1080I and your stretching.

Is this the key benefit to the DVI players since non DLP TV did not have as much picture improvement?

Anyone compare this mode with the Bravo or that Monumsu (spelling) over seas brand?

I have the 931 and I don't care about using the screen fit option. Because you're losing the content on the left and right of the movie. The picture quality is grainy to me, because when the SFIT is on, the picture is enlarged to fit the screen.
