I have the setup options on my box for the view to be "fixed", "pass through" and "convert1", "convert2" and something else. I have a HDTV. Can somebody tell me the differences and which one I should be using?

please put this post in the recorders section! If you have an HDTV, I sure hope its an HD DVR, otherwise you have just waisted money on a TV that you are making suffer with 480p, tops.
