I was at Sears last night, and my trusty and knowledgeable sales rep told me it was a brand new set, very similar to the XBR450, except it does not have the 3:2 pulldown.

Has anyone heard of this set and/or know anything about it? I can't find anything on Sony's web site.

The going price (10% discound of Sears price) is right around $2000.

Any info is greatly apprecited.

It is the same as the XBR400. They just gave it a new name just like they did with the XBR250 to the FV26.

I just bought HS20 TV at Video Only... 32" price is $1700, I got a better deal because they were temporarily sold out... Now I'll be searching for the calibration and service manual hints to have it ready when the TV comes in, which is quite hard since all the discussions on XBR400's happened almost a year ago. Any pointer to a site or a thread would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I just bought a 32XBR400 at HiFi Buys in Atlanta for a little under $1500 after tax. I figured the pulldown function wasn't worth waiting and paying for the 450. I hope I didn't screw up... (if I did, let me know so I can take it back!).

I would also like to see those pointers too.
