New System Purchase

I'm brand new to this site, and have been impressed by the quality of posts.

I'm in the market for a new TV, AVreceiver, DVD(maybe). The Klipsch speaker system I have is just fine, so won't be changing that.


The only component I've picked for sure is the Mitsubishi 62628.


Receiver: I want HDMI, THX, and video upconversion to 1080i (the Mitsu then converts to 1080P if I understand corrently).

Thus far the likely contenders are the Denon 4306, Denon 4806, or the Yamaha V4600 (no upconversion, but will it make a difference?). Of course I want to spend the least possible for the best result.


DVD: Haven't spent as much time thinking about this. Would like to get combo player/dvd rerecordable (sort of use like an old style VCR). Want 1080i ouput; would really like 1080p, but haven't seen it yet.

Thoughts?
