Get ready for a big year from TCL, both figuratively and literally. At CES 2021 the company announced the OD Zero, an ultraslim mini-LED FALD LCD that features thousands of "contrast control zones" i.e. FALD zones, which improves its ability to deliver high contrast, brilliant 4K HDR, and eliminates the gap between the actual LCD display layer and the mini-LED backlight, giving it an ultra-thin form factor.

TCL has also announced that its popular mini-LED 6-series TVs will now be available in 8K resolution. And TCL has announced to the XL collection that brings 85 inch screen sizes to the company's lineup. This includes a QLED 85" model featuring 4K 120 Hz input, making it a tremendous choice for immersive gaming as well as home theater. TCL will also offer a four series 85 inch at $1599.
