Ok, read this forum for months before deciding on new set. It was delivered about 3 weeks ago. Worked fine until 3 days ago.

Now images are repeating themselves 2/3rds of the way over. So the image on the left third of screen is repeated on right third of screen cutting off what should be on right third of screen. 1st 2/3rds are fine. The line differentiating the 2nd and 3rd thirds is squiggly. This happens on an off the air regular signal (can't get OTA HD from this far out of city) and on the cable box regular channels (on Comp 1) and SD picture input. The DVD player on Comp2 looks fine as does cable box HD channels on comp1.

Called Panasonic, they didn't have a clue, sent out authorized sevicers, but they didn't have a clue either. They took it and said they are going to mess around with the boards. Should I be ok with this or should I push for a replacement? We ordered it straight from Panasonic through my husbands work..he got it at cost. Looks like you get what you pay for unfortunately.

Any ideas?

Remember, the onboard tuner is for digital brought into set via an outdoor antenna (if you are 20 miles or more from transmitter (s). If your set can receive (and it should be able to up to 50-60 miles with proper antenna, rotator, and pre-amp), you will be also getting HD programming. It seems your local stations should be passing on the HD content of the networks. HD is digital. No ideas about the problem. Just be sure all your cabling is sound and your inputs are labeled correctly.
