I'm looking into getting a receiver that has a Zone 2 output so I started looking at amps in order to use it. However, I've begun searching on Amazon and I can't really find any amps that are either given 4-5 stars or affordable. Can anyone please direct me to brand names or specific models I should be looking at? Thanks!

Emotiva is the usual recommendation around here for a good quality, affordable amp...

Thanks for the response. But I think others may have a different definition of "affordable" than myself. The amps I've seen on Amazon are a minimum of $349 for a two channel amp. This is the same cost as a decent home receiver! Are there any cheaper ones that are good for running a Zone 2 off a Denon 1713?

For running a second zone, I'd suggest a Russound X75 amp ($199). It's 60 WPC at 8 ohms and 75 WPC at 4 ohms, has auto-sensing power on capability, and can be bridged to a single channel at 160 W at 8 ohms.
