Ya know, you plan on documenting the build and then you get so caught up in getting the things done, you barely take any pictures lol. Regardless, my build is complete be successful to say the least. Testing them out in my living room to make sure everything is square and holy hell. I'm completely satisfied. And considering the money I saved, I don't think id miss any performance from some of the big boys. This is my first build and I'm already got ideas spinning for my LCR setup!

Awesome! Congrats on a successful mission!

Great job, looks like a commercial offering!

Enjoy!

Thanks! They definitely came out better then I could have ever imagined. Duratex is quite the material! Dual 15's should last me a long while, until I need more that is

Great looking project.
What's the volume of the cabinet you ended up with for duals, did you model it ahead of time?

3 cubic foot. One on the left and one on the right. They were modeled off of the parts express knock down cabinets. I got some measurements from the site and took them to a buddy of mine who does some custom cabinetry. He played around with them a little and once we agreed on the design, we had his CNC machine cut the MDF.

Boxes look superb. And I am really digging the blue leds.

Thanks! I got the LED strip light kit from parts express a little while back and stuck it all the way around the inside of my 42u rack. I can change it to pretty much any color I'd like! Definitely makes it easier to see things when it's pushed back in it's closet.

I have to admit, those Ultimax cones look awesome! Nice job on your build!

Indeed!

That is one sexy driver, the best looking ever in my opinion.

Looks as good as any textured sub I've ever seen including the driver. VERY nice work.

JESUS! I wasn't thinking THAT big but man, you're going to get me into some hot water with the lady haha. I was thinking some fusion tempests to start with.

I'll be getting my inuke 6000dsp today, and 2x 15" UM + flat packs arriving Monday. I'm just curious how you have the drivers configured to the amp. Do you have both drivers connected to one channel of the amp, or are you running both on their own channel and using a limiter?

Love it! I like the look of the sealed cubes. Great job man. Do you have 2? As far as the LED's those are cool. Radio Shack has some that are about 36" long but they are skinny as a strand of sphagetti. I thought about running it along the inside of my media cabinet as well. I am liking it! Great job.

Right now I'm running them in wide open stereo.

Yes, I have two running in stereo.

This is the kit I used for the rack

For the price, I'm more then happy. Had to get some better double sided tape though. The stuff that comes on it isn't very good at all so I used some stuff from home depot that is used for back splash tiles. Stuff is pretty strong.
