I only subscribe to/watch satA stuff, plus the OTA DTV locals.


Should I go through the trouble of replacing my (tuned in) old round dish with the new oval one that came with the ts160?


D* is sending an installer for free anyway, but if it aint broke....

Don't know where you are from, but DTV might move your locals to SAT B or C. I'd recommend getting the new dish.

I'm in Florida, Daytona/Orlando market. I get my locals in HD OTA for free.

Remember, though, most D* HD content will be on the 110 or 119 satellites (SAT B or C) - Discovery HD, HBO HD, Showtime HD, ESPN HD, etc. Install the 3 LNB dish that came with the package. Aligning these things takes two minutes.
