First, I've had my X1 for a week now and really like it. I have a Toshiba SD-4700 DVD player that is connected to my HDTV via component (progressive). The DVD player has one component output, how do I connect it to both my HDTV and my X1 without switching the plugs all the time. Is there a switch box I can use? Cable splitter?

Thanks for any help,

Mark

You can buy a switchbox from Radioshack for 20 bucks that is actually a video edit box and it will switch component.

I found though, that with my DVD player I got a better picture using the processor in the X1 using the component to S-video adapter.

Dean,

Care to elaborate on that switchbox? Are the connections RCA (Component) or are they VGA (HD15)? I agree with you on the S-VHS to Component adapter...
