Circuit City was selling them for $267 here in San Diego about three weeks ago. Of course, it will vary from location to location.

I have a extra brand new unopened XP50. What would one be able to get out of this money wise? Thanks

Got the xp50 delivered to my door for 280 3 weeks ago.
So you're the one who picked up the last 1050s deal at etronics. I ordered one on April 1 and got an e-mail letting me know they ran out the next day. I was bummed as I had hoped to make that a second system in my basement. That company will not be getting anymore of those in stock. The xp50s are getting near impossible to find and I know of only one dealer who still has them in stock and they are now asking and getting $300. If I were you I would wait a few more weeks as you will probably be able to get your $399 investment back by selling it on Ebay. Good Luck
