New York Area AVS Forum Insider Meeting
OK, this one has short notice so I apologize for it in advance. Thanks to Robert from Value Electronics, we can meet at his store in Scarsdale, NY this coming Wednesday. We will be starting at 7:00pm to give everyone time to come from different areas. We will go until 9:00pm or until the last person leaves 
. I will be there together with Kevin Collins. We will provide snacks so that you won’t starve . We can take up to 15 people.
For those people seeing this for the first time, you will be meeting with me, and other HD DVD insiders from Microsoft. We will be answering questions and showing cool HD DVD titles and explaining the technology behind them.
I will be posting more details on Monday. But would be great to know between now and then to know what the interest level is in attending as I am flying out just for this event (unfortunately, can not stay for Digital Life on the weekend).
So please post here if you are willing to come.

Unless someone can pick me up, not a chance in hell I could make it there from NYC. I have a feeling that's going to be the case for a lot of people from here.

There is always Metro North. A scheduled 27 minute train ride from Grand Central to Scarsdale, the 6:14PM arrives at 6:41PM.
For the return, there is a 9:12PM train that gets to Grand Central at 9:55PM.

If it's in NYC, I'll definitely be there, without question.
The train is a nice idea but with that AND cab fare to the place (if it's not within walking distance), it's kinda not worth it...unless Amir is going to throw in a free HD DVD or something.
