I have been a lurker here for a long time and have been impressively influenced and entertained by the dialogs and opinions expressed by this forum¡¦s contributors. I am also a huge fan of High Def. since its early days, but never had the opportunity to explore its combination with a CRT projector.
Some weeks ago I decided to change that, and with the research done here, I managed to convince myself that I needed G70 to throw a decent 1080i picture. I managed to score one at what seemed reasonable, (i.e., price/condition, given my limited knowledge of the space).
I was in the process of planning and preparing for the G70 installation when the opportunity to own a G90 presented itself. Now, my recollection from this forum was that along with some outboard gear, I would be able to throw a 1080p picture with the G90, and excitement of doing this drove me to acquire this beast.
I am in the process of prepping to get this thing installed, (including going to the gym), and will solicit your collective help from time to time. After all you are the ones that make this topic so damm interesting and you are partly to blame for my predicamentļ.
