I was reading these forums but could not make up my mind for a good Home theater + music system setup.
What I was looking for was:
1. Music should sound good through front 2 speakers. (rules out most HTIB with their tiny speakers).
2. HDMI is not a requirement for now.
3. Circuit city is having a deal on HT-S790 (music does not sound the best on this, this could be good for the movies though).
3. Saw a deal on outpost for Polk R50.
Is it a good idea to buy the R50 and some other center channel speaker + surround with a suitable receiver.
I am looking to spend about $800 total for this setup.
Any help is appreciated.
