My girlfriend finished her masters and just got an apartment but she has no tv.

The tv will mainly be used for movies and cable. Looking for a 40 or 46inch.

My current choices are ln40d550 ln40d630 or UN40D5500. I know the d5500 is led. And both the 550's are 60hz. I dont know which is the best choice of the 3 for just movies and television. Any help is appreciated, thanks.


On a side note I own the ln40b630 and get constant usb power overload problems and dont know if newer models have this issue. Even with firmware update it doesnt stop rather annoying for a 2 year old tv

For movies and tv, a 60 hz will be fine, and LCD is good as well. As you know, be sure she gets an HD source for cable watching with an HDMI cable.
