I have a small Mt. with a lot of different antennas on it about 4 miles in the distance. My line of sight to Mt. Wilson which is where my DTV comes from is right through this small Mt.
I had a CM UHF/VHF/FM antenna up and was suffering a lot of muiltipath problems but I was getting signal lock in the high 50's on the worst channel and in the 80's on the others. I then put up a Ratshack U120R UHF only antenna and still seem to suffer mulitipath problems.
My question are:
Should I try the CM 4228 over the Ratshack?
Would an amp help?
What type of amp - indoor or on the antenna?
I used the transformer from the CM UHF/VHF on the U120R, could this be a problem, do I need to change?
Or am I just out of luck because of this small Mt. in my way?
